What’s Your New Year’s Resolution?

I’ve never really done any new year’s resolution for years and I’m not even sure if I’ve kept all of them. But now that I’m continuing a new life here in Vegas, I want to make resolutions as I think this will help me keep myself on the right track and this will serve as sort of self-discipline.

1. Get Organized. I’m not really a messy person. I do clean but sometimes I get lazy especially on weekends when it’s the best time to do the household tasks! It’s just a bit shameful when I ask my roommate to clean up or wash her dishes when I can’t do it, myself. I get disorganize with my things sometimes and it frustrates me when I can’t find what I’m looking for. Also, my coworkers at work always compliment me for having a clean desk but they don’t know what I have in my room, lol. I know that I really have to keep this resolution. It always feel relaxing when you get to a clean house from a very stressful work.

2. Speaking of work, I wan’t to gain more friends at my job. I know that I’ve said in my previous post that usually when I get a new job, I tell myself not to be too close to anybody coz I won’t stay long in that job anyway. And it would be hard to leave when it’s already time. Now that I’m getting mature (I think!), I realized that this mentality is like a trigger not to stay in a job when I should. It could also become a reason not to stay because you have no friends at work and the more reason you find your job boring. I don’t think it’s bad to stay in a company because of your coworkers. Even if you don’t like your job, you’ll learn to love it eventually because of the people around you.

Well, that’s all that I could think of right now and I also have to go to work. Tell me your resolutions while I wait for my brain to reload! 🙂
